This Timex 100 Bayonet men’s watch was produced in 1959. The gold plated case is bezel less allowing the crystal and dial to reach the edge of the case. This makes these watches wear big and is why they are popular with collectors. The Dial of the Timex 100 contains recessed roman numerals at 12 3 6 & 9 in silver surrounding a gold center. The whole dial is etched with radial grooves giving it a sunburst effect when held in the light. The hands ate gold plated. Printed on the dial are the words TIMEX and 100.

Hi, My name is Mark Rushworth AKA Timetrope on Social Media. Ive been collecting Timex watches for a little over three years. From day one the community of collectors have been very patient and generous for the most part which has kept my interest and engagement in the hobby.

'Ive set up this website partly as a way of cataloging my collection and its many gaps, and as a way of paying forwards the kindness offered to me by Knut, Ian and others (you know who you are).
