With no source material we’re not clear if this vintage Timex 100 watch was a mans or women’s watch as its dimensions would appeal to both. Available with a gold or chrome plated case this Timex 100 Differs from traditional Timex watches of the era in that it doesn’t have an in-house Timex movement. Instead the AS (ST) 1941 manual wind movement was used to add some prestige to the piece and help it compete with competing brands that use a more standard mechanical movement.
As mentioned before the case here is gold plated over base metal and is tank style with integrated lugs. The dial is gold and printed with crisp black roman numerals. A stepped date window appears at 6 o-clock and is framed with a printed black border. On the dial is printed the words TIMEX 100 and 17 JEWELS
