A follow up to the popular Extra Thin range, in 1961 Timex launched the Super Thin range of watches. Again the focus of these watches was having a slim profile case. To do this each Timex Super Thin employed a number of innovative techniques such as using a small womens watch movement, tapering the side of the cases, having slim bezels and large dials. All of this made the Timex Super Thin live up to its name.
