Created by design studio Pakter Krauss, the Timex Color Flicks range uses mystery dial techniques to create a fun and unusual set of watches. This blue dial piece uses a transparent perspex disc containing blue blocks of color that rotates to change the colors underneath. The crystal is perspex, high domed with a faceted edge. This provides room for the mystery dial to turn and hides the edge of the disc. This is a feature missing from the Todd Snyder reissued watch which used a plain domed crystal showing the disc and in my opinion, spoiling the effect.

The case is chrome plated base metal. The dial has colored blocks with black printed markers at 12 3 6 & 9. This makes reading the time more difficult than with a standard watch. This is the largest model of the Pakter Krauss Color Flicks.

Hi, My name is Mark Rushworth AKA Timetrope on Social Media. Ive been collecting Timex watches for a little over three years. From day one the community of collectors have been very patient and generous for the most part which has kept my interest and engagement in the hobby.

'Ive set up this website partly as a way of cataloging my collection and its many gaps, and as a way of paying forwards the kindness offered to me by Knut, Ian and others (you know who you are).
