Tag Timex Character Watch

Branded US Time Corporation, then later Ingersoll and finally Timex, there has been a long history of Timex producing character watches. The original 1955 line-up of character watches features Disney’s Mickey Mouse in a red case, Hopalong Cassidy in a black case, Cinderella in a blue case, Snow White in a yellow case, Alice in Wonderland in a pink case and Davy Crocket in a green case. In the 1970s this expanded to cover multiple franchises from Peanuts and Snoopy to Hanna Barbera, Smurfs, Moomins, Asterix and many others that continue to be discovered today.

Vintage Timex character watches are highly collectible with pieces even suitable for adults to wear.

Look out for mystery dial pieces that replace hands with “floating” elements such as the 1977 Snoopy tennis and Asterix watch ranges.
