The Timex M25 movement was added a calendar (date) complication to the 3rd generation of watch movements. The calendar is held in place using a combination of 4 pins and a wire spring that wedges the date wheel in place. This can be fiddly to do but with practice is easy enough. The crown and stem release mechanism changed from a lift based mechanism and now required a screw to be loosened , but not removed, on the setting arm.
The M25 movement was created using silver colored base metal making it visually different to the previous generations brass movements. The movement holders used on the M25 were also changed from brass to plastic.
Below you will find watches using the caliber M25 movement.
