Made in 1978 this vintage Timex Viscount men’s watch was the start of Timex consistently creating watches with stainless steel cases. The case is faceted and brushed which helps hide any scratches. The crystal is high domed acrylic. The dial of this Timex Viscount is grey with embossed chromed markers and a printed second track. There are lume pips around the edge of the dial, one for every 5 seconds. The hands are chrome with lumed centers. The dial contains an applied logo wit the words TIMEX and AUTOMATIC cut our from metal and applied to the dial. The day-date window includes both a rectangular and trapezoid cut out framed with a black printed border.
