This vintage Timex Viscount men’s dive watch is often confused for the “Bandit” watch worn by Burt Reynolds in the 1977 movie, Smokey and the Bandit. It differs from that watch as this version features an orange, not white triangular style sweeping seconds hand and has 25m printed on the dial. The latter is a common feature of models made for non-US markets. The case is chrome plated and has beveled lugs. The center of the dial is black with the words TIMEX, WATER RESISTANT, AUTOMATIC and 25 METRES printed on it. The outer edge of the dial is cream with embossed and printed markers. The hands are black and white with lumed centers. This dial has a black outlined date window.

Hi, My name is Mark Rushworth AKA Timetrope on Social Media. Ive been collecting Timex watches for a little over three years. From day one the community of collectors have been very patient and generous for the most part which has kept my interest and engagement in the hobby.

'Ive set up this website partly as a way of cataloging my collection and its many gaps, and as a way of paying forwards the kindness offered to me by Knut, Ian and others (you know who you are).
