This vintage Timex Viscount men’s sports watch has “AUTOMATIC” positioned in the bottom half of the dial. There is another version which shares the reference but has this text is positioned on the top half of the dial. This is likely due to manufacturing differences between plants worldwide. This sports watch has a silver painted plastic bi directional bezel featuring numerals every 10 seconds/minutes. The dial has horizontal stripes alternating between white and orange across its center. The edge of the dial has lumed markers and a printed seconds track. The hands are black and white with lumed centers. The sweeping seconds hand is orange. This watch has a date window edged with a white painted frame. The dial has the words TIMEX, WATER RESISTANT and AUTOMATIC printed on it suggesting this was intended for the US market. The chrome plated case has beveled lugs.
